Privacy policy
This policy explains what BlueNova Insurance Agency collects when you use bluenovainsurance.com or ask us for a quote, why we collect it, and who we share it with. We collect what we need to quote your coverage, and nothing we would be uncomfortable explaining to you on the phone.
What we collect
What you give us. Your name, ZIP code, phone number and, if you provide it, your email address, together with the type of coverage you selected. If you go on to apply, we collect what the carrier requires to rate the policy — typically date of birth, address, driver’s licence number, vehicle identification numbers, property details, and for commercial trucking your MC and DOT numbers, equipment list and driver records.
What your browser sends. Standard server logs: IP address, browser type, the pages you requested and when. We use these to keep the site running and to spot abuse.
How we use it
To prepare quotes, submit applications to insurance carriers on your behalf, service policies we have written, respond to claims, and meet the record-keeping obligations that apply to a licensed insurance agency in Texas. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with lead-generation buyers.
Calls and text messages
When you submit the quote form or call us, you are asking us to contact you about insurance. We may call or text the number you gave us, including with an automatic dialling system, for that purpose. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive marketing calls or texts is not a condition of buying any policy. Reply STOP to any text to stop texts, or tell us on a call and we will note it on your file.
Who we share it with
Insurance carriers and wholesale brokers, so they can quote and issue coverage. Consumer reporting agencies and motor vehicle records providers, where the carrier’s underwriting requires it. Service providers who host this site and our agency management system, under contract. Regulators, and anyone else where the law requires disclosure.
Cookies
This site does not set advertising or tracking cookies. If we later add analytics, this policy will be updated before it goes live.
How long we keep it
Quote requests that do not become policies are kept for up to two years. Records relating to policies we have written are kept for at least five years after the policy ends, which is what Texas insurance record-keeping rules require.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete anything we are not required to keep. Write to info@bluenovainsurance.com or call (877) 875-2322 and we will respond within 30 days.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
